I currently live in an area that has had some major cuts in the eduction programs. Many schools are being closed and others combined in efforts to save money. Unfortunately, some of these changes are bringing dangerous and unsafe conditions to the neighborhood and even to those who will be attending the combined schools. There are a number of children that because their families live barely above or below the poverty line will be attending school far less than they did the previous year ...

It seems rare to find a couple who have been married for more than 10 years or so, most of the people that were married around the same time as my husband and I didn't even make it past the 5 year mark. At this point I consider our marriage of 18 1/2 years to be somewhat of a miracle.
